The Sekolah Cita Buana, which is located in South Jakarta, is seeking qualified and experienced educators for the following positions:
- A Head of Department for Special Education
- A Special Education Teacher
General Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Psychology and/or Special Education Degree, Teaching Degree/certificate
- Having self-confidence and strong interpersonal skills to work/interact with multicultural environment/parents
- Computer literate

Educational Opportunities
Hesther Bate, who has already run two workshops on the subject, is proposing training week-ends on volunteering. These will have a full programme including testing, looking at existing projects, with real needs vs. skills offered.Sessions would include listening and interpersonal skills; cultural differences (dress, attitudes to women/youth/age); health; diet; and practical issues like visas. Participants will be asked to take part in communal tasks and to contribute a small amount financially.
